‘Shark Week’ 2023 schedule & how to watch Discovery

[ad_1]

“Shark Week” 2023 kicks off this Sunday, July 23rd at 8/7c. Stream the Discovery Channel event on Max. Watch for free with a new subscriber trial from Philo, Fubo, Sling, and/or DIRECTV Stream; and enjoy “Shark Week” content on discovery+.

Hosted by Jason Momoa, Discovery’s annual “Shark Week” begins Sunday night at 8/7c with “Belly of the Beast: Feeding Frenzy,” an hour-long special in which scientists infiltrate Great White feeding grounds with a sort of Trojan horse method, wading through the waters inside a Great White Shark replica. This experiment “could be the key to finding the biggest Great White Sharks in South African history,” says the Discovery Channel.

The groundbreaking shark excitement continues through Saturday, starting at 8/7c every night on Discovery. Monday night features an investigation into the matriarchal tradition of sharks, a look at the mysterious Bermuda Triangle, and a dive so deep that the creatures may as well be aliens.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday find experts researching ocean giants, dangerous waters and beachfronts, and what happens when the predators come into contact with snakes… and cocaine. The final two days examine sharks in unlikely places, tracking their movements and providing viewers with up-close underwater footage.
